Borrego Pass Trading Post was opened in 1927 and was first operated by Ben and Anna Harvey. A community grew around the post and it is now an unincorporated town in McKinley County in northwest New Mexico. The trading post was named after the nearby Borrego Pass, an ancient water gap.
